High-quality PC translation uses Google TranslateGemma. The Gemma Terms of Use (2026-04-01) and Gemma Prohibited Use Policy (2024-02-21) apply to this feature. Full copies of both documents are provided with these conditions.

Users of Gemma translation must agree to the Gemma Terms of Use and comply with the Prohibited Use Policy and applicable laws. You must not use, or allow others to use, Gemma or Model Derivatives for uses prohibited by that policy. The Prohibited Use Policy is incorporated into these conditions as a binding contractual provision governing your use. Other HL Player terms do not reduce or replace your obligations under the Gemma Terms of Use.

The policy includes restrictions concerning infringement of others' rights; dangerous, illegal or malicious activities; deceptive and misinformation-related uses; and generation of sexually explicit content. Consult the full policy for its exact scope and conditions, including its scientific, educational, documentary and artistic exception for sexual content. This summary does not replace the full policy.

If you do not agree, you cannot use PC translation powered by Gemma. Source subtitle generation and basic translation on your phone remain available under their respective model and use conditions.

The accepted document versions and acceptance time are saved on your device. Acceptance on the PC web page is also recorded by the connected local PC engine when it supports this feature. This receipt is not sent to analytics servers. You will be asked again when changed documents require renewed acceptance or the device's receipt has been deleted. Phone and PC keep separate receipts, so each may show this notice on first use.
